Where, who and when?
Kitchen table, Thursday March 25th, lunchtime, me (19 yrs) and T (3 yrs)
What?
T: But why mommy can't stay for the whole lunch?
Me: 'Cause that's how the world works
T: I wish the world would end!
Me: No, T, you can't wish that!
T: Why?
Me: 'Cause if the world would end, you wouldn't have any place to go, nowhere to stay.
T: That's okay, I'd just lock the doors and stay here!
Me: But T, we're part of the world, so if the world ends what would happen to us?
T: Do we end someday?
Me: Uhmmm, hopefully not anyday soon.
T: Am I going to DIE?
Me: Well, sweety, everyone has to go someday, but that's not gonna be for millions of days!
T: But I don't want to die.
Me: And you're not going to, not soon. But do you know what happens when you die?
T: What?
Me: You go to Heaven with God.
T: But I don't want to go to Heaven. I want to jump and turn into a rocketship and NEVER die!
Me: I wish you could do that, but why wouldn't you like to go to Heaven?
T: It's no fun.
Me: But you'll have everyone fun there someday.
T: Are you gonna be there?
Me: I hope so.
T: Yayyy!! I love you! Can I have a treat after I eat these carrots?

Mä en ymmärrä miten kolmevuotiaasi kykenee kaltaiseen kommunikointiin. Meidän keskustelunaiheet ovat lähinnä autot, vauvat ja kakka. Noh, hän täytti viime sunnuntaina vasta kolme... mutta jokainen omilla taidoillaan :)
